A fun autumnal activity for all the family! Explore our local scarecrow trail, bring the community together & raise money for our much-loved infant school.
🍂🎃 DITTON SCARECROW TRAIL 2026 🎃🍂
This half term, we’re inviting our wonderful local community to get creative, get outdoors and join us for a very special Scarecrow Trail around Ditton!
Families and local businesses can enter their very own scarecrow for just £6, helping us create a fun trail for everyone to enjoy while raising much-needed funds for our small and much-loved infant school.
Trail lists will be available for £2 each on:
📍 Thursday 22nd October, 3–4pm — outside Ditton Infant School
📍 Saturday 24th October, 10am–12pm — outside The Kiln Barn, Ditton Community Centre
Then, throughout half term, (24th October to 1st November) grab your trail list, wrap up warm and head out with the family to explore the village and see if you can find all the wonderful, imaginative scarecrows created by our community!
But this is about so much more than scarecrows. It’s about giving our children something wholesome, fun and affordable to enjoy, encouraging families to get outside and explore their local area, creating opportunities for neighbours to meet, friendships to grow and our community to come together.
Every £ raised goes towards supporting our infant school and helping us enhance the experiences and opportunities we can provide for our children.
So whether you’re creating a scarecrow, hunting them down, or simply cheering on the brilliant creations along the way — we’d love for you to be part of it!
