Say It Competition Rules
Anyone who enters the Competition (an "Entrant") will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them
The following rules are together with, and in addition to the kmfm competition terms and conditions which can be found here
To enter the Competition an Entrant must call the studio (01227 786 106) when requested by the on air presenter/s.
Presenter's will announce on air how long listeners have to call.
One line will be chosen at random. The chosen entrant will be asked to choose which presenter they want to describe to them. That chosen presenter will then describe things to the entrant who has to guess as many correctly as they can in 60 seconds. Each correct answer is worth 1 point. The entrant can pass if they wish.
The entrant with the highest score on the last competition day of the month (subject to calender dates) will win £1,000 (to be paid into the winner's bank account).
If there is more than one entrant with the same score, the prize money will be shared. For example, if 2 entrants have an equal high score, they each win £500.00, totaling £1000.00. If 3 entrants score the same, they each win £333.33.
This updated term came into effect on 1st October 2022.
An entrant can only play once per month if they are top of the leaderboard. Should they then have their top score beaten during that same month they can enter the competition again.
This updated term came into effect on 1st March 2024.
If the chosen entrant does not answer their phone or there are any faults before/during the call and it's not possible to re-establish the call, another entrant will be chosen at random.
If the chosen entrant is driving at the time of the call and can not pull over or the entrant can not continue for whatever reason, another entrant may be chosen at random.
A call will be recorded and played out on air.
The randomly chosen entrant will be required to have a chat with the on air presenter and play the game.
This competition runs on kmfm Breakfast (6am-10am) Monday-Friday.
This competition does not run during bank holidays (eg, bank holiday Monday) or during long holiday weekends.
The final round of Say It in December will be on Friday 22nd. The competition will resume on Tuesday 2nd January 2024.
Prize money can take up to 28 days to reach the winner's account.
Prize:
£1,000 (to be paid directly into the winner's bank account)
"Summer Say It Kids"
To enter the Competition an Entrant must call the studio (01227 786 106) when requested by the on air presenter/s.
Presenter's will announce on air how long listeners have to call.
Entrants for the 'Summer Say It Kids' must be under 18 years.
Entrants must have the bill payers permission to call.
Entrants must be children, and parents can not play on behalf of their child, but they can help them.
The chosen entrant will be asked to choose which presenter they want to describe to them. That chosen presenter will then describe things to the entrant who has to guess as many correctly as they can in 60 seconds. Each correct answer is worth 1 point. The entrant can pass if they wish.
The entrant with the highest score on the Friday of each week day will win the stated prize listed below.
In the event of a number of entrants having the same scores at the end of the week, they will split the prize, eg, if there is 2 people with the same score they will each win £100 Smyths Toys gift card.
If the chosen entrant does not answer their phone or there are any faults before/during the call and it's not possible to re-establish the call, another entrant will be chosen at random.
If the chosen entrant is driving at the time of the call and can not pull over or the entrant can not continue for whatever reason, another entrant may be chosen at random.
Only 1 prize can be won per household. Another entrant can not take part in the competition if someone in their house has already won a prize in this competition.

The randomly chosen entrant will be required to have a chat with the on air presenter and play the game.
This competition runs on kmfm Breakfast (6-10am) from 1st-31st August 2023.
This competition does not run during bank holidays (eg, bank holiday Monday).
Prize:
1x £200 Smyths Toys gift cards.
There is no cash alternative.
The prize will be emailed to the winner's parent/guardian's email address if the winner does not have their own email address.
There are 5x prizes to be won in total.
